Catering PENCO's 150 Year Anniversary Celebration

150 years in business! Wow… how many businesses out there today can lay claim to distinction? Well, PENCO Products here in Greenville has earned membership into that very exclusive club.

In 1869, a man named L. Lewis Sagendorph fulfilled his ambition to begin his own company that would produce the finest metal products in America. He called his fledgling business the Penn Metal Corporation of Pennsylvania, and began by making steel culvert pipe on Oregon Avenue in South Philadelphia.

In 2001, to a 375,624 square foot manufacturing facility in Hamilton, North Carolina. The corporate headquarters is now located here in Greenville.

On May 4th, 2019 Rep Express Catering & Events had the honor of providing catering for PENCO's 150 year celebration at the Bob Martin Agricultural Center in Williamston.

The super cool event was an amazing evening filled with wonderful people, a beautiful venue and of course some tasty food served by our crazy amazing culinary team led by Chef Jen and our banquet team led by PJ Harlin.

The Rep Express event planning team started the proposal process for securing the event in June of last year. Yes, you read that right, we started providing the PENCO team with proposals in June of 2018 (that's almost year prior to the event). Like so many of these events we were up against a lot of competition, but with one taste of our food the deal was done!
